৪১তম বিসিএসের প্রিলিমিনারি পরীক্ষা আগামী এপ্রিল মাসে অনুষ্ঠিত হবে। প্রায় সাড়ে ৪ লাখের মতো পরীক্ষার্থী এই প্রিলিমিনারি পরীক্ষায় অংশগ্রহণের জন্য মুখিয়ে আছেন। ৪১তম প্রিলিমিনারি পরীক্ষা শুরুর আগেই ৩৮তম বিসিএসের চূড়ান্ত ফলাফল প্রকাশের পরিকল্পনা করেছে সরকারি কর্ম কমিশন (পিএসসি)। এদিকে ৩৯ ও ৩৭তম বিসিএস থেকে ৭৩১ জন নন-ক্যাডারে নিয়োগের সুপারিশ করেছে কমিশন। এর মধ্যে ৩৯তম বিশেষ বিসিএস (চিকিত্সক) থেকে ৫৬৪ জন এবং ৩৭তম সাধারণ বিসিএস থেকে ১৬৭ জনকে নিয়োগের সুপারিশ করা হয়। উভয় ফলাফল কমিশনের www.bpsc.gov.bd ওয়েবসাইট এবং টেলিটকের http://bpsc.teletalk.com.bd ওয়েবসাইটে পাওয়া যাচ্ছে।
এ বিষয়ে জানতে চাইলে পিএসসির চেয়ারম্যান ড. মোহাম্মদ সাদিক ইত্তেফাককে বলেন, ৩৯ ও ৩৭তম বিসিএস থেকে নন-ক্যাডার নিয়োগ প্রক্রিয়া সম্পন্ন হয়েছে। যতদ্রুত সম্ভব ৩৮তম বিসিএসের চূড়ান্ত ফলাফল প্রকাশের চেষ্টা চলছে। মার্চের প্রথমদিকে ৪০তম বিসিএসের ঐচ্ছিক লিখিত পরীক্ষা নেওয়া হবে। এছাড়া এপ্রিলে ৪১তম বিসিএসের প্রিলিমিনারি পরীক্ষা গ্রহণের লক্ষ্যে প্রস্তুতি নেওয়া হয়েছে। তিনি আরো বলেন, স্বচ্ছতা, সততা এবং দ্রুততার সঙ্গে পিএসসির কার্যক্রম পরিচালিত হচ্ছে। সর্বোচ্চ মেধাবীদের নিয়োগ দিতে সক্ষম হচ্ছি। পরীক্ষার্থীদের কথা চিন্তা করে প্রতি বছর একটি করে বিসিএস শেষ করা হচ্ছে।
বিভিন্ন ক্যাডারে ২ হাজার ১৬৬ শূন্যপদে প্রার্থী নিয়োগ দিতে গত বছরের ২৭ নভেম্বর ৪১তম বিসিএসের বিজ্ঞপ্তি প্রকাশ করে কমিশন। ৫ ডিসেম্বর থেকে এই বিসিএসের জন্য আবেদন শুরু হয়। নির্ধারিত সময়ের মধ্যে প্রায় সাড়ে ৪ লাখ পরীক্ষার্থী প্রিলিমিনারি পরীক্ষায় অংশগ্রহণের জন্য অনলাইনে আবেদন করেছেন।
এদিকে মার্চের প্রথমদিকে ৪০তম বিসিএসের ঐচ্ছিক বিষয়ে লিখিত পরীক্ষা শুরু হচ্ছে। এরই মধ্যে শান্তিপূর্ণ পরিবেশে ৪০তম বিসিএসের আবশ্যিক বিষয়ের পরীক্ষা নেওয়া হয়েছে। এই বিসিএসে ৪ লাখ ১২ হাজার ৫৩২ জন প্রার্থী আবেদন করেন। গত ২৫ জুলাই প্রিলিমিনারি পরীক্ষার ফল প্রকাশ করা হয়। এতে মোট ২০ হাজার ২২৭ জন পাস করেন। এই বিসিএসে মোট ১ হাজার ৯০৩ জন ক্যাডার নিয়োগ দেওয়ার কথা রয়েছে।
